Traditional Chinese Medicine

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) originated in ancient China and has evolved over thousands of years.  Through analysis of the entire system, including the assessment of the tongue and pulse, treatment focuses on the correction of pathological changes by readjusting the movement of Qi, Blood and Fluids and stimulating the Zang-Fu organs to normalize their interrelationship.  Tailored to the patient’s presentation, a TCM treatment may consist of any combination of acupuncture, moxibustion (heated point stimulation), cupping, guasha or herbal prescription.
